Here in Perth, the company FBR invented the mentioned robot that precisely lays brick by brick, regardless of weather conditions, day and night. Currently, they are testing bricks from Xella. The robot has already completed two bungalows and two single-story commercial buildings ready for occupancy. A two-story house is currently under construction. They are also in negotiations with Wienerberger.

What is your opinion? Do you think something like this will eventually become widespread wherever it is technically (access) feasible?

There are several videos about this on YouTube.

Just for your information: hospitals have never been attractive. When you went there, you were either sick yourself or visiting someone who was.

And when it comes to caregiver robots and relieving healthcare professionals, one shouldn’t throw around clichés without having engaged with the topic. Just one keyword: shortage of skilled workers in nursing...

Some might even prefer to be cared for by a robot (as long as it does the job well), as this can reduce stressful situations.

I want a robot for folding laundry.

Where do you see a significant difference there – the robot is basically a house print head (at least for walls), right?
The printer can create more complex shapes in layers during construction. Imagine, for example, that walls no longer need to be channeled for installations because the conduits are already integrated. There is no longer a need to produce special bricks since everything is built to exact dimensions. Construction precision could reach the millimeter range. Special shaping of window openings could greatly simplify window installation. It is possible to achieve unprecedented airtightness. Insulation and soundproofing can be significantly improved through different shapes involving mass and air. Disposal of homogeneous materials would offer new opportunities...
If you also consider that a printer might be capable of working with multiple materials simultaneously, the possibilities multiply. I don’t see this happening in just a few years, but the concept allows for it.

I’m still looking for a robot that can occasionally help out in the garden, especially with weed control. It would also be great if it could carry bags of potting soil or similar stuff to the back of the house 😀

It’s interesting how the written word can be interpreted ... 😉

Soon “Siri” or “Alexa” will also be taking over psychological support for patients, because patients apparently have a “chance of mood-related issues”(?).

Soon "Siri" or "Alexa" will also take over psychological support for patients, because patients have a probability of emotional states.

I always assume patients/visitors. And the person who replied is most likely not a hospital employee.

If you have better solutions to address the shortage of nursing staff, please share them. But don’t start with the topic of salaries, because that is not the reason why no one wants to work as a nurse. I have been dealing with this for 10 years.
