Here in Perth, the company FBR invented the mentioned robot that precisely lays brick by brick, regardless of weather conditions, day and night. Currently, they are testing bricks from Xella. The robot has already completed two bungalows and two single-story commercial buildings ready for occupancy. A two-story house is currently under construction. They are also in negotiations with Wienerberger.
What is your opinion? Do you think something like this will eventually become widespread wherever it is technically (access) feasible?
There are several videos about this on YouTube.

Interesting. However, I needed almost the entire video about the Hadrian X update to get used to the Australian accent. 😀
Are brick houses common in Australia? When I stayed at Airbnbs in NZ (back when you still stayed with real people), I mostly only saw these “corrugated iron houses.”
Nearby in Beckum, I need to check out the 3D-printed house. It should actually be finished by now.

Sorry, I had to say that.
But very interesting. It’s impressive what exists these days. I can definitely imagine this kind of technology being used more frequently in the future.
Prefabricated house companies, in particular, should be able to benefit from it. The most important thing is, it can’t catch COVID-19. I think this kind of technology has great potential to become widespread. For example, at my hospital, we are also testing a nursing robot called Pepper. So, anything is possible 🙂

Technology can really helpI’m still looking for a robot that can occasionally help out in the garden, especially with weed control. It would also be nice if it could carry bags of potting soil or similar stuff around to the backyard 😀Acof1978 schrieb:
