Soon we will start the interior finishing, specifically plastering and wallpapering. I want to do both myself and have already chosen certain products. I am still unsure about the hallway, though. Should I use a textured wallpaper or would plaster be better? I assume the walls in the hallway will be subject to more wear and get dirty more easily. So, would plaster be the better option? What did you use in your homes?

The house renovation is also on my agenda. The stairwell will be replastered, and wallpaper is not suitable here. At first, I considered fiberglass wallpaper, but I discarded that idea because it comes in long rolls. That’s not so easy to handle.
I want to do it myself, and I think it will be a flock plaster finish.

I applied a textured plaster. At first, I wanted to use a trowel, but I couldn’t manage it. I applied this textured plaster with a roller, and it worked quite well.
Only in the corners were there minor issues. I couldn’t reach those areas properly with the roller, so I finished them with a brush.
