Immobilie27 Jan 2016 22:38Hello,
Scratches on a white wall were repaired and painted over with the original color. The paint was applied over a larger area—not only over the repaired spots but also several centimeters (inches) around them.
Depending on the viewing angle, the color difference of the repainted area is either barely noticeable or clearly visible from several meters (yards) away, showing a difference from "standard white" to "extreme white."
What did I do wrong here?
Best regards

Depending on the viewing angle, you can hardly see any color difference in the entire repainted area—or the color difference (“regular white” to “extreme white”) is clearly visible from several meters (yards) away.

Best regardsHello!
We know the situation! Even if it’s white paint, you can definitely see the touched-up area. Our painter also “dabbed” with a large brush. The spots are visible when light hits them.
We have also done repairs ourselves and sometimes only made things worse. I’m planning to repaint the whole wall to avoid seeing any difference.
