Hello everyone,

In a month, the plastering of the ground floor in my old building will take place. However, the plasterer has not yet worked with a wall heating system (16 mm MVR on clamping rails on old brick walls). He suggested using a lime-cement lightweight plaster (due to shrinkage behavior) but is leaving the material choice up to me. The area is 11 sqm (118 sq ft) in a bathroom, partly extending into the shower area. So, I think clay plaster or pure lime plaster is out of the question. The surface will be fully tiled afterward.

Does anyone have a recommendation for a suitable plaster, especially considering quick application at a thickness of 30 mm (1.2 inches)? The entire job is scheduled to be done within a week, so a drying time of 20 days after the first layer would be problematic. I saw in this forum that someone used Sakret MAP-L, but it’s not available here. Therefore, I am currently considering Maxit Pluscalc 121, Maxit IP 18 or IP18 Ml, WeberDur 132, or possibly Super Lupp from Knauf.

What would you choose in this situation?
