Hi, I’m new here and signed up because hardly anyone else can give me competent advice...

It’s about a wall decoration.
I was told that stones are used, which are made from gypsum or something similar and glued on. Then the joints were covered with joint compound or something like that.

Now I’m wondering if that’s the right way to do it? Is this a common method? Or is it a kind of paneling? Where can I get something like this? And how much does it cost per square meter (square foot)?

I want to install Zebrano laminate flooring... such a TV wall would look great with it.

Please, I really hope someone can help me... Thanks in advance

Hello,
I have seen something like that before. These are a type of plastic panels that are glued to the wall like tiles. There is a special adhesive and matching grout for them. You can find all of this where the panels are sold.

Cool. Thanks a lot.
And where can I get these panels?
Is there a specific online retailer? Or a hardware store? I’ll visit the TOOM hardware store and OBI later.

It would be great if someone has more information.

Hello Nelo Angelo,

I don’t know where you are from, but if you are from Austria, you can get the panels at a good tile store or at Baumax. You can also get the special adhesive and grout at the hardware store. I think these panels are very nice and they look really convincingly real.

Hello,
these are available for purchase at our home improvement store, and I have also seen them in catalogs. I have even considered putting them on my wall. They look very good and seem really easy to install since they are simply glued to the wall.

Hello,
I know this from the catalogs as well, and it seems quite easy to stick it onto the wall. And considering how great it looks, I would like to have it too. Unfortunately, I don’t have a free wall—wondering if it’s suitable for exterior use as well?
