Hello everyone,

Moving on to the next topic. We are planning a walk-in closet in the bedroom. Its front wall will be adjacent to an exterior wall. We are still unsure whether to install sliding doors or not. However, I’m starting to worry that, since there are no windows in the walk-in closet, there might be issues with mold.

You enter the closet and have wardrobes on both the left and right sides, each 1.90 m long (6 ft 3 in). On the front wall, where the exterior wall is, we plan to install a large mirror.

What do you think?

Why would mold develop? Your clothes are dry anyway 😉

However, I would still recommend installing a ventilation grill in the door. Don’t you have the option for a small window? I mean, it’s not ideal to always work in a pitch-dark small room with only artificial light; that’s more of an emergency solution... 🙂

A window is not possible, which would also look a bit awkward. The sliding door can, of course, have slots cut into it.
And regarding the brightness, with enough spotlights, it will work fine. 😉
