Greetings,

I will have a kitchen island in my new kitchen. This island has a nice stone countertop, and the sides (also called end panels) are made from the same material.

Now, I would like to install one or two power outlets in these side panels on both sides. Of course, I could use the standard outlets that we commonly have everywhere. However, I don’t like how those look at all.

I am thinking more along the lines of outlets that are possibly black and flush-mounted, and visually consist only of the area where you actually plug in the connector—so no visible frames or borders, if possible.

Does anyone have a suitable idea?

Two suggestions for you:

Merten M-plan
Gira E22

Both are quite slim but still require a rectangular cutout in the brickwork!

Only round and small, nothing comes to mind.

There are many options available on the internet—try searching on Google otherwise...
