Hello everyone,

Starting Monday, the Villeroy & Boch O-Novo including the toilet seat will be on sale at the hardware store.

Has anyone had any experience with it?

I’ve learned that neither the price nor the manufacturer really indicates whether a toilet is good or not. On Amazon, there are Villeroy & Boch toilets priced at 400€ with an average rating of 1.5 stars from over 100 reviews.

So far, I was planning to buy a rimless toilet from Bernstein-Badshop. What do you think of those?

Regards

Does the O.Novo also come with a coating, and is the toilet seat easy to remove? That would be important to me for cleaning.

I would never choose a toilet with a rim again! It’s more hygienic, there’s no odor, and if there is, cleaning over it is much easier. And no, it doesn’t splash anything out—maybe very rarely with a very large bowel movement, but that was the case with the old one too.

Regular cleaning is the best way to prevent odors!

...is this fun, or simply cheeky. I’m still new here.

I believe our o.Novos do not have a coating, but they still look like new after regular cleaning. However, there are many different versions, so some might come with a coating.

As a woman with small fingers, it's easier to reach into the corners for cleaning.
