Schmatzrübe15 Nov 2016 20:52Hello everyone,
I hope I have posted this in the right section (if not, apologies to the administrator).
We are planning to build a house soon, and it will be a Swedish-style house.
(Why? 1. We really like them, 2. Excellent insulation values, 3. Prices are relatively reasonable, etc.)
Unfortunately, there are so many manufacturers/suppliers/companies that it’s hard for us to get a clear overview.
That’s why I’m asking you here (this could also serve as a collective thread for others):
Can anyone recommend a completely reliable and top-quality company that delivers and builds a Swedish-style house here in Bavaria/Upper Palatinate?
Our requirements in the following order of importance, starting with the highest priority:
1. Construction and material quality (for durability)
2. Reliability of the company/employees (professional expertise, craftsmanship, availability)
3. Extensive experience (meaning many Swedish-style houses already completed)
Negative experiences are also welcome.
(If company names are against the rules here, I would really appreciate a private message instead).
THANK YOU
Best regards

stefanvery21 Nov 2016 02:11I am interested in that as well
We are currently planning a Swedish-style house with Moritzburger Wohnbau. We had almost purchased one of their used homes before and were very impressed with the quality (we inspected it together with a building surveyor). Since then, we have looked at two more houses from them, and aside from the fact that there are different levels of construction quality (the Swedish house for about 300,000€ didn’t feel quite as high-quality as the one for 700,000€), I haven’t seen anything that makes me doubt my decision. Whether they build in Bavaria would be worth checking, but we are also located almost 200 km (125 miles) away from their company headquarters.

schwedenswen18 May 2018 16:51Hello! Even though it’s a bit late: Eksjöhus offers TOP-quality houses. The houses are completely prefabricated in a factory in Sweden and then sold to Germany through various importers. One company is located in Norderstedt, and that’s the one we dealt with.....
The houses are then assembled in Germany by subcontractors who provide a lot of work for little money and are supposed to know what they’re doing. However, this is not the case specifically with the company mentioned above.

It would be worth asking whether they also build in Bavaria, but we are almost 200km (125 miles) away from their company headquarters.I also came across this company, and they make a good impression! Did you proceed with building through Moritzburger Wohnbau after your planning mentioned above? If so, what was your experience? I would appreciate a brief report!
