Hello, today I had to wait for an hour and only had my notebook with me... so I just doodled a bit.
This is my very first draft of the ground floor, and it probably still has quite a few mistakes.
What I’m curious about is whether there are any major errors here (for example, the staircase?).
North is at the bottom right.
One square represents half a meter (0.5 m / 20 inches).

You need to determine this for your house yourself. Use graph paper and a set square to draw the width of the house, then apply the 35-degree angle. Measure the height at the intersection of the lines. The wider your house, the flatter the roof can be, in order to provide, say, a 40 m² (430 sq ft) area with a ceiling height of two meters (6 ft 7 in). This is a planning exercise. Our access is via a proper staircase, not a floor hatch. This creates a raised basement. It is definitely cheaper than a full basement and uncomplicated. Karsten

The main issue is that there are no private spaces when the other person has guests over (like for watching soccer/football, etc.) And how much beer (or Heineken, if you prefer) would I need to understand this: a basement, built under difficult conditions, mostly for the case when you want to watch TV separately?

But that’s the point where we don’t see a solution. And it’s one of the most important issues, since we face this problem every few days in our current apartment. We simply need private retreat spaces for everyone when guests are over. And the bedroom is not an alternative.Well, if he secretly cheers for Dortmund dressed in black and yellow with a Heineken in hand, he would have to go to the basement in his village, otherwise the limit and expulsion from the region. But if that were to happen, we in Schleswig-Holstein would take him in and integrate him, with a language course and all... you know.
