Hello, today I had to wait for an hour and only had my notebook with me... so I just doodled a bit.

This is my very first draft of the ground floor, and it probably still has quite a few mistakes.

What I’m curious about is whether there are any major errors here (for example, the staircase?).

North is at the bottom right.

One square represents half a meter (0.5 m / 20 inches).

A few meters away, there is a staggered shed roof and a bungalow with a hip roof. I actually find it quite nice when a house stands out from the standard gable roof design. You just have to be careful not to overdo it.

You made a mistake in the forum: no links are allowed here in the HBF.

And what we are saying here is that you are going around in circles about the pantry – take it in stride!

Staggered shed roofs can certainly be used effectively in aesthetic designs, although currently most planners more or less fail spectacularly in that regard. Therefore, it is not automatically assumed that such a design would look bad on a house that fits the landscape in Bavaria. As for the bungalow, I hope it is at least not clad in a color resembling coarse sausage meat, because even strong beer couldn’t make that look good if something like that stood in a Bavarian residential area.

I’m taking it that way, which is why I haven’t given up yet. It’s a bit frustrating, but also fun.
However, I think I might have found the solution now...

@11ant

No, it’s just a plain white design. But above it is a Tuscan villa. That doesn’t really fit here, even though it’s beautiful and has a view of the Danube.

A friend of mine is now building a brick-faced house. I’m really curious about that.

I really like the trash bins in the hallway and the dressing room.
Otherwise, I have to say, this is a crappy program – whether you’ve found the solution with it is hard to judge because of the lack of clarity. Graph paper works much better. You shake your pen just as much as you do the mouse on the computer – but graph paper doesn’t translate those movements into the claim that the two children’s rooms should differ in width by 4cm (1.5 inches). In my opinion, such supposed "details" cause more confusion than clarity.

Hello, I’m basically a digital person who doesn’t really know what to do with paper. It’s been like that since my university days.

I’ve attached the pictures again without any measurements. Personally, I really like this platform because you can access it from anywhere. The confusing aspect isn’t so noticeable to me anymore, since I’ve probably drawn about 20 versions with it.

The plan is now intended to include a basement.

Floor plan: Office on the left, hallway in the middle, pantry on the right, open living/dining area at the bottom.
