LostWolfSince I am renovating an existing property and not building a new one, I have to adapt to the current conditions.
Unfortunately, this means that in my 1.15m (3 ft 9 in) wide shower, only a 1m (3 ft 3 in) wide shower drain can be installed (due to the position of the drain pipe).
Since the build-up height of the floor is also limited, I have chosen the Schlüter KERDI system:
Drain: KLVO 50 GSE 100
Slope board: KSLT 1365/200S
How problematic is the missing slope on the left and right sides (red arrows) (each approximately 7.5cm (3 inches)) of the drain?
Is this an issue?
The Schlüter slope board (KSLT 1365/200S) only has a slope of 1.25%.
The 2% slope boards are unfortunately too small for my shower (220cm x 115cm (7 ft 3 in x 3 ft 9 in)).
Does this smaller slope cause any problems?

What about the missing slope on the left and right sides (red arrows) (around 7.5cm (3 inches) each) of the channel? No problem.

Those with 2% are unfortunately too small for my shower (220cm x 115cm) (87 inches x 45 inches).
Does this smaller slope present an issue? No.
Of course, if the missing slope in the 7.5cm (3 inches) areas bothers you, you could install small tile pieces to compensate. But I would rather just quickly use a squeegee after showering, and that’s it.
