Hello,
we are currently in the detailed planning stage for a new build. Now we are faced with the question of whether to install a ventilation system or not. If yes, which type? Centralized or decentralized?
Both of us work in shifts, and we think we might not be able to ventilate the house properly ourselves.
Who has experience with these systems and can help us?

Hello,
it depends on the insulation values of the new building and the level of airtightness. When moving into the passive house category, a controlled mechanical ventilation system is essential. Furthermore, according to the new energy savings regulation, controlled mechanical ventilation is mandatoryWhere do you read that? I have reviewed the 2009 energy savings regulation; it specifies how ventilation can be credited towards energy demand requirements and how ventilation should be implemented if present. However, I cannot see that ventilation is REQUIRED. A paragraph with section and citation would be helpful.Similar topics
