Hello,

we are currently in the detailed planning stage for a new build. Now we are faced with the question of whether to install a ventilation system or not. If yes, which type? Centralized or decentralized?
Both of us work in shifts, and we think we might not be able to ventilate the house properly ourselves.

Who has experience with these systems and can help us?

Clearly, 99% efficiency is better. Which system is supposed to achieve that?

Hello bangolo,

The TZWL Dortmund shows a 99% heat delivery rate up to 200 m³/h (118 cfm), decreasing to 95% heat delivery rate up to 275 m³/h (162 cfm).

I would need to review the article again for the exact information.

The Building and Energy working group already confirmed 95% in 2003.
That is how I got in touch with this company in the first place.

Best regards

Yes, the 60 to 85% mentioned in the article generally seems to refer to exhaust air heat recovery.

I would say we just leave the figures as they are for now.

Hello,

what price should I expect for a complete heating system including installation with controlled ventilation?

I’m not looking for an exact figure, just an approximate estimate for a 160 m² (1,722 sq ft) newly built prefabricated house...

Thanks!

Good question!
It depends on many factors, especially the building’s energy performance, climate location, user habits, etc.
A ventilation system may not necessarily be required.
Good luck
