I need to renew my old wooden facade (gable). At the moment, I can only make the ventilation gap tight enough to keep out rodents, but not insects. (There are a lot of wasps here.) So my question is: Do I even need to ventilate the gable? I have read that for "small" facades (10m² (108ft²)) this is not necessarily required. I am a bit confused now.
