Hello everyone,
I am currently planning to install several decentralized ventilation units in my single-family home (about 135 m² (1450 sq ft) of living space) and would like to hear your experiences and opinions on this.
I have a floor plan of the house, but I am still unsure about the most effective placement of the fans – especially in the living/dining area (open kitchen), the bedrooms, as well as the bathroom and toilet.
Maybe someone here has completed a similar project and can share advice on optimal positioning.
Additionally, I am interested in:
I appreciate any feedback, preferably with pictures or examples from your homes.
If you can recommend specific models, that would be very helpful.
Thank you in advance!
Best regards, Julia

Additionally, I am interested in:
- Which decentralized fans do you use yourselves?
- Which brands/models have you had good or bad experiences with?
- Which units would you recommend for living rooms, bedrooms, or damp rooms?
- Do you use paired operation, humidity control, or a central control unit?
- How satisfied are you with noise level, air performance, and maintenance?
I appreciate any feedback, preferably with pictures or examples from your homes.
If you can recommend specific models, that would be very helpful.
Thank you in advance!
Best regards, Julia

Humidity control is activated only in the bathroom, as it is unnecessary elsewhere. They mostly run in basic ventilation mode. Audible only when the house is otherwise completely quiet.
Overall, I am satisfied, although a centralized mechanical ventilation system with heat recovery would be even better (was not possible for me due to renovation).
