Hello everyone,

Next week, we will continue with the electrical work. A KNX wiring system would be ideal, but unfortunately, it’s no longer within the budget. So, for some added convenience, I have come up with the following combinations for now. “Only” the shutter switches and room temperature controllers for the time being. I’ll share my idea for the light switches later.

Could someone please take a look and see if I’ve missed anything important? I’m not concerned about the “small parts” right now.

Shutter Switches
  • Busch-Jaeger 6411U/S-101 Busch Shutter Control II Insert (Item number: 6410-0-0379)
  • Busch-Jaeger 6455 Comfort Timer Control Panel 6455-101 (Item number: 6410-0-0397)
  • Busch-Jaeger 6435-214 Central Cover Plate (Item number: 6430-0-0402)
For the cover plate, you can of course also use multiple cover plates if more components are added in series. The U/S version is chosen to allow additional options (sun sensor, glass break sensor, etc.), with hardly any price difference. I think with the Comfort Timer Control Panel, this is a good setup.

Room Temperature Controllers

I am still a bit unsure here. What exactly do I need to implement the following controller?
  • Busch-Jaeger 1098 UF-101 Electronic Room Temperature Controller Insert (Item number: 1032-0-0509). This is the version with an external remote sensor. How do I know if this is necessary?
  • Busch-Jaeger 6435-214 Central Cover Plate (Item number: 6430-0-0402)
I assume I will also need the actuators, right?
  • Busch-Jaeger 6164/10-101 Thermoelectric Actuator with Function Indicator 6164/10-101 (Item number: 6164/10-101)
Light Switches
I’m stuck here at the moment. We want to be able to control the light switches remotely as well (on/off). The light switches should also have a dimmer function. So far, I have found the following, which should point in the right direction:
  • IR Control Panel with Label, Illuminated (Item number: 6066-24-102)
Can anyone tell me what else I need to control a standard lamp or an LED lamp?

Thank you all!

Best regards,
Stefan

Sebastian, when I look at the GIRA electronic blinds controller 2 with sensor evaluation (1309) and add another insert here, I am hardly cheaper than with Busch Jäger.

Can you tell me which combination you have?
Thank you

Exactly the combination

But you really don’t want to install the controller everywhere, do you??

Good so far. Did you use a central switch per floor? Which switch did you use for each roller shutter?

Exactly, one control unit per floor.

And in each room, push buttons with sensor evaluation and, if necessary, memory function.

Thank you. I am still researching the shutter control switches with memory function and control feedback. Could you please tell me which component I need to connect all the shutters on one floor to an electronic shutter control 2?

The control switch insert for shutter control 230V with secondary input for group control is clear, but all the roller shutters/shutters then need to be connected to the central switch.
