Hello,

we are getting a house power system E3/DC S 10E 2Z, 4.6 installed in our new build.

Does anyone have experience with this device, especially regarding home automation? We would like to control our blinds through the system. According to the manufacturer, this should be possible. Somfy roller shutter motors will be installed. It would be possible to get a control system from Somfy, but that doesn’t really make sense if we already have a suitable device for controlling the house.

It would be great to read about some experiences.

Thank you for your time and effort

Good morning MKoni,

unfortunately, I cannot contribute to your question above (but surely there are some experts here who can), however, the whole topic has made me curious about the home energy system.

Am I correct in assuming that it is a combination of a photovoltaic system and battery storage, with the energy flows managed through an inverter inside the house? With these types of systems, people usually calculate a cost-benefit factor. After how many years could this setup be expected to pay off? Especially with the batteries, it is still quite unclear due to their lifespan and possible decreasing storage capacity.

I would appreciate any information on this (also via private message).

Best regards,
Andi
