Hello everyone,

like many others, I feel overwhelmed by all the "smart" (more or less) solutions out there... I want to implement a relatively simple system, but I’m lost in the maze of options. We are building a new house, but I want to avoid KNX. It seems too overpowered for my needs.

What I want:

- Control all the roller shutters on the patio doors of the ground floor (5 units) from a central switch or a remote control. The individual switches should remain functional.
- Connect a sun sensor and possibly a wind sensor so that the shutters adjust automatically based on sunlight and raise in strong wind.
- Install door contacts on some patio doors, so that the shutters for those doors don’t move while the doors are open during automatic operation.

As far as I understand, this can be done with Somfy and the Tahoma box, for example. Is that correct? What alternatives are there?

Thank you very much for your help!

Edit: Is there perhaps some kind of decision tool online where you can click through your preferences and get a device recommendation at the end?
