Hello forum,
we had to run some cables through the vapor barrier foil afterwards.
What is the best way to restore airtightness? Unfortunately, we cannot use a collar glued from below, as the hole is only accessible from above (attic).
The vapor barrier foil is attached from below to an OSB board.
Ceiling construction – from bottom to top (gypsum board/batten/foil/OSB boards/insulation/wood paneling)
My idea is to generously seal the gaps between the cables with a special adhesive from a cartridge (manufacturer: S***).
Is this an appropriate solution?
