Hello,

Our roof is insulated with a vapor barrier. Now I am finishing the attic, including the collar beams.

Between the attic and the collar beams, between the purlins, I am insulating with 14cm (5.5 inches) of mineral wool. My question is: should I install an additional vapor barrier over the mineral wool between the attic and the collar beams? Specifically, at the green line?

Thanks for your help!

No, you already have that included in the ridge – hopefully well executed, as there are often connection errors in the area of the purlins.
