I’m wondering whether I should use the planned (and budgeted) V100 floorboards for the attic or if it would be better to choose tongue-and-groove boards (+633 euros / 21mm [0.8 inches]) for the attic of the bungalow (without a concrete ceiling).
The advantage would probably be that tongue-and-groove boards can absorb moisture better and allow it to pass through to the (otherwise untreated) attic, meaning they are more vapor permeable than V100 boards.
Am I understanding this correctly? Is the additional cost worth it? What would you do?

I hope that the issue with the utility providers will be resolved by next week at the latest. The magenta-colored company, in particular, seems clueless. It’s a good thing there are external firms that have expertise and actually apply it.
Roof should be finished by tomorrow / Monday. Weight reductions completed. Construction site cleaned up. Solar thermal system installed. Wow. Things are really progressing. Utility providers are coming on March 17, and the telecom company promised they will finish on time. Still, I have my doubts.

Yesterday, I received a call from the telecommunications company’s customer service hotline for homeowners. During the conversation, the young man sincerely mentioned that our project had progressed quite quickly and that I should consider myself fortunate. Apparently, the company SAG is involved behind the scenes to help manage our project.
Today, it finally happened: SAG was at the site and couldn’t understand what was going on. The reason: the telecom company had ordered them to measure our connection. SAG had proactively installed the main connection point last week while laying the electrical cable.
However, the connection to the main cable was missing. Where there is nothing, nothing can be measured. To make matters worse, the entire installation plan provided by the telecom company was incorrect.
Hopefully, this ordeal will be over by Monday.

Telekom is quite an interesting company. These processes should actually be standard practice in planning. There must be some way to track what has been completed and what hasn’t. A very strange bunch. Somehow, the saying "Too many cooks spoil the broth" always comes to mind.
In that respect, I am curious to see what surprises Telekom still has in store for us.
