Hello,
Yesterday, while drilling to hang a painting, I realized that the developer built a wall entirely out of solid Lego bricks in a load-bearing construction!
Is this considered a defect that I can address?
Thank you very much!

At first, I thought... wow, you built that quickly... now I'm wondering what else you brought from Legoland 😉The Lego house was an initial design that now exists almost exactly as planned 🙂

(I’ve repaired, filled, sanded, and painted my walls four times... haha).
Please share some real photos of your house.
We have a very nice thread about this in the OT section, but it seems to have quieted down recently, as if no one is building anymore...
Best regards,
Thorsten

That’s why the windows rattle when it’s windy.
.Damn... Fischertechnik 🙁
Otherwise, I would have offered you my folding shutters made of Lego, so the windows wouldn’t rattle... I still have 6 green ones in stock that I don’t need anymore.
Otherwise, I’m still missing roof tiles – the flatter ones for pitches under 30 degrees (about 17°). If anyone has some, I’d gladly take them.

Roof tiles for 30-degree roofs: A tip, don’t go to a specialist.
You can easily buy baking trays for about 30 cents each at dollar stores. That’s enough to cover the roof quickly.
I had to make an angle of exactly 26.98 degrees for the roof tile, which I did immediately with a pipe wrench.
It always amazes me how often builders simply forget or neglect the intrinsically sensitive roof tile angle of the highest precision class.
Building defects. Complete botches.
I appreciate my metal roof for that.
Do you know how much I paid for a metal sheet back then? That's too expensive for me 🙁

I don’t know how you manage to create 3D designs relatively quickly without a PC, but I had to rebuild our staggered terrace with an inset planter for our landscape gardener so he could understand the custom design... Lego worked perfectly for that 😀
