Hello everyone,
As far as I know, some of you have taken your ERR out of operation.
I have done the same in most of the rooms for a few years now, but I still have the valves installed and always have to make sure the ERR is set to 1 so that no power is drawn.
Do you still have the controllers on the wall or have you removed them entirely?
Is there any useful purpose for the wiring? Do you have any ideas or have you already implemented something?

He probably just disconnected them mechanically, not electrically.
Since each actuator usually consumes about 2W, with 10 actuators that’s a constant 20W.
That’s why I use normally open contacts without power everywhere.
If they have their own circuit breaker, I would simply switch that off. I have a circuit breaker labeled "HKV." Can I just turn it off? Is there nothing else connected besides the actuators?

But it doesn’t hurt to try! I don’t know. And the electrician? Well, I don’t think so either.

No, it’s just that you can generally say, if it’s labeled as DHW controller and wired properly, nothing else should be connected to it. Or the other way around, no, there definitely is something else connected… that is absolutely necessary for the heating system.
Yes, I only disconnected the actuators. They are normally closed without power, which is why the ERR value shows 1 everywhere. I just need to keep an eye on it occasionally to make sure the kids aren’t tampering with them. This isn’t noticeable when the actuators are disconnected.
I don’t think there is a separate fuse; they are powered through the heating system. I only have an extra fuse for the heating element, which is turned off permanently.
Additionally, I currently have two actuators more or less in operation.
At the time, my wife couldn’t bring herself to have the bedroom and guest/office room uncontrolled. The guest/office room was rarely used before and was kept a bit cooler, but it is now in regular use and has been running at normal temperature for quite some time. So this actuator could also be disconnected. The bedroom still needs some fine-tuning but could be disconnected as well.
That’s why I was thinking about whether the wiring could be put to some useful purpose. However, I haven’t come up with a really good idea yet.
