ᐅ Upgrading Ikea Pax Uggdal Cabinets: Covering or Painting the Doors

Hello,
we have two Pax -UGGDAL closets standing side by side, each 1.50 m (5 feet) wide.
Now, I’m tired of the gray/black color and want to replace the doors. Unfortunately, it seems Ikea no longer offers sliding doors in 1.50 m (5 feet) width.
My question to you: is it possible to cover or paint the doors? Has anyone tried this before?
Or does anyone have another suggestion on how I can get white doors?

So, there are still 150cm (2 x 75cm / 59 inches (2 x 29.5 inches)) sliding doors available.
