Hello Forum,
we are just starting with a new build and will later renovate and refurbish the existing building accordingly.
The plan also includes a photovoltaic system with a suitable storage unit for a total of around 40,000 euros.
How do you assess whether this topic will receive dedicated support or incentives again in the coming months?
Thanks and best regards

I don’t believe in new purchase subsidies either. Photovoltaic systems have long become profitable on their own. The current prices for new installations are driven by increased demand, supply chain issues, and a shortage of skilled workers. At the same time, Germany set a record last year for photovoltaic capacity additions.
A purchase subsidy wouldn’t be necessary at all and would only drive prices even higher.
If you want to save money, skip the battery storage.

The only incentive is the slightly increased feed-in tariff that was approved last week. Some districts – in our case, for example, MR-BID – offer subsidies amounting to a few hundred euros, depending on whether a storage system is included or not. Doesn’t this apply only to full feed-in systems? Or did I miss something?
