Hello
One more question about the kitchen planning:
I am currently planning a Lidingö kitchen and want to place an FA527 tall cabinet next to an FA707 tall cabinet.
This is shown on the left side of the picture. I would like the front panel patterns to be identical, as shown on the right side of the picture.

I am aware that the FA527 has 3 doors and the FA707 only 2, but are there other front panels/doors that I can install on the FA707 so that it matches the FA527?
Best regards

Simply put:

Both cabinets differ in their internal structure. You can make the doors the same on either cabinet, with 2 or 3 doors. The interior, whether drawers or shelves, is flexible. You only need a shelf at the bottom of the door for stability and possibly for aesthetic reasons.

I'll take the FA 701 as an example. You can also install drawers in it, build it as a pull-out pantry cabinet with just one door, mount the upper door lower down, and so on...

That’s the great thing about Ikea kitchens—very versatile.

Thank you!
That means I can also install 3 doors on the FA707, the same doors as on the FA527.
I didn’t understand the part about the shelf, because the FA707 also has no shelf with 2 doors, right?
And what does the shelf have to do with stability? It’s not screwed to the body but just rests inside, correct...?

There are shelves where the shelf supports are screwed in and the shelf snaps into place on them. These also provide a stabilizing effect. Just take a look at the assembly instructions. The FA numbers are only there to make it easier for the customer. I would personally put together the carcass, fronts, drawers... myself anyway.
