Hello to all UniFi specialists,
I have the following problem: I wanted to / have installed two AC Pro units! Everything is connected normally through a PoE switch. Now, during the initial setup, something went wrong, so I can no longer access the access points via the app!
I always get the message "Error during login!" I have tried resetting multiple times with no success!
There must be a way to reset the system completely, right?
I am also not satisfied with the performance!
From 250 Mbps only about 80 Mbps are reaching the access point!
I chose UniFi based on many recommendations, but so far I am really disappointed!
Saludos

Initially measured at the router via cable, then later tested the Wi-Fi throughput using a suitable app!
The throughput improved and was 260 Mbps at both access points! If this topic is still relevant: How exactly did you measure? Was the laptop/PC connected via cable to the router accessing the Internet as a reference for available Internet speed? Which app did you use to measure the Wi-Fi and how? Did you test it through the Internet or only within the LAN? The latter is the only meaningful method.
Otherwise, the access points may have automatically found free channels by now. Or the neighbors might simply not be home yet.
I had a similar issue with the LR.
I then connected it directly to the PoE switch using a short cable. Tried it 2-3 times, and after that, I was able to access it again.
I blamed the problem on the cable being too long and the non-UniFi switch.
Since then, I have been able to configure it from a greater distance again.

You need to remove (forget) the access points in the controller first. Then perform a reset and reconfigure them. This is usually done not with a smartphone, but with a Cloud Key or a laptop running the controller software.
The throughput also depends on which frequency band you are using (2.4 GHz or 5 GHz), how many other users are connected, and the signal reception.
I always recommend the NanoHD units. They are faster, smaller, more energy-efficient, and receive longer support.
Once everything is set up, make a backup of the controller. This way, in case of total failure, restoration is just a matter of a few clicks.

One reason I chose the UniFi system is that it can now also be configured via the peer app. However, it still does not work properly with the computer and controller! At one point, it showed me an access point but I couldn’t access it; the next morning it was gone again. Now it blinks blue in the app and is shown there, but not in the controller. Even in the app, I have no access to the APs.
At first, I was able to enter login details for one of them, but I never managed to access it again!

At the beginning, I was able to enter login details for one, but ever since then I haven’t been able to access it! Have you tried it without PoE?
