Hello everyone,
Today we noticed that all the flow meters in the heating circuit valves throughout the house are brown. It is hardly possible to see what flow rate is set.
The house is a new build from 2019.
Why is this the case? Is this something that should be addressed with the developer? I saw that these meters can be cleaned or professionally serviced. However, I am more interested in whether this discoloration after 3 years is acceptable or if it indicates a potential issue for which I should file a warranty claim.
Thank you

Was the heating water demineralized in your system?
Was a separator installed?
Do you have a towel radiator or any other type of radiator connected to the underfloor heating?

In my case, the water was demineralized and a magnetic separator was installed – nevertheless, the flow meters have turned brown. Not as brown as in your case and only where the flow rate is particularly high or the circuit was always open.
