Can you imagine having underfloor heating that is already integrated into the floor covering and can be controlled via an app (so it’s warm where you sit, but not heated under the wardrobe)?

The underfloor heating systems I am familiar with are slow to respond. This does not align well with a control system designed for spontaneous heating behavior.

Yes, this seems to be a tentative attempt at a market study.

Conducting a sort of market study without understanding the technology and the underlying principles is a bit odd! It’s like moving to Mallorca without any savings and opening yet another bar in the back row.

However, both have somehow become part of everyday life.

Both emigrating without a proper plan and completely unrealistic ideas under the label "smart home"

...exactly...smart home...maybe also with some kind of pressure sensor embedded in the floor covering that can detect who is sitting, standing, or walking based on shoe size and weight, and knows their heating preferences to adjust the temperature accordingly? Perhaps also illuminated in different colors so you can simultaneously play a dance game?

I think with skilled bricklayers, you could sell the "old lady living in a period building" in this highly competitive market.

Whether that is desirable is for you to decide. We will see each other in three years on WISO when they ring your doorbell for a statement, and you don’t answer.
