Hello everyone, does this make sense? Is it possible to install underfloor heating (even afterwards) in a timber-framed house? Or is that completely out of the question due to the wooden elements?

Best regards

Hello,
If the building has a higher heating demand, then underfloor heating is not a good choice. In my opinion, it is not suitable as the primary heating system. This type of heating will not provide a comfortable room temperature.

Underfloor heating in a timber-framed house is not a good idea, as most of the previous posters have pointed out. I agree with these arguments.

Were you able to install one now? We are currently asking ourselves the same question 😀

Technically, many things are possible, and I have read that something like this works. I already mentioned that I would consult a professional beforehand. I am also curious to know whether the underfloor heating was installed.
