Hello,

Is it recommended to use tiles (porcelain stoneware) with underfloor heating? Or is another type of flooring more suitable?

Tiles conduct heat very well, making them ideal for underfloor heating. Of course, there are also vinyl or laminate / hardwood options that are suitable, but tiles or porcelain stoneware are definitely the most conductive.

Does it take a long time for a room to warm up or cool down with tile flooring?

Underfloor heating generally responds slowly to temperature changes. Therefore, it should ideally run continuously during the cold season. I don't have one myself, but my neighbors do, and they confirmed this. So, if a room has cooled down, you won’t be able to warm it up within an hour with underfloor heating, regardless of the floor covering.

It depends on how the heating system is set up, what type of heating is used, the size of the room, and so on. It can take up to half a day before you notice any change in the air temperature. However, with tiles, you usually get a better sensation underfoot, meaning you can more quickly tell whether the heating is on or off.
