patalmttHello,
Does anyone have the currently valid U-values (for construction start July 2024) that must be met according to the building energy law? The energy consultant says the secondary entrance door must have a U-value of 1.2, while the carpenter refers to 1.3.
After some googling, I also assume 1.2, but I keep finding lots of outdated information stating 1.8.
Regards!

==> Google for the overview, it shows 1.2 there
The carpenter is covered in Appendix 7 to §48. This deals with modifications to existing buildings. Patio doors must not have a U-value worse than 1.3 W/m²K (U-factor 1.3). For standard exterior doors, the door panel must not exceed a U-value of 1.3 W/m²K (this applies only to the door panel, not the entire door).
The clear winner in the energy consultant versus carpenter debate is definitely the energy consultant.
