Hello,
does anyone happen to have their TV positioned under a band of windows and could share a few pictures with me?
If you had to choose, TV under the band of windows, couch opposite, allowing a view through the patio door on the same side as the TV
or
couch under the band of windows (with the garden behind, patio door basically on the couch wall, and the view then towards the opposite wall with the band of windows.
Does anyone have either of these setups?
Thanks and best regards

Okay, in the evening I would find it acceptable again. Although I still prefer the wall mount solution. These wall mounts now also come with adjustable settings. This way, you can rotate and tilt the TV as much as you want… well, as much as possible.
Oh, I didn’t realize that was important to you. I thought there would be a dining table there anyway... because we have one, and sometimes I find it nice to be able to watch TV from there as well. On the other hand, when I’m sitting on the couch, I’m there to watch TV, not to look outside.

This is how we have it, with no window on the side but a sliding door instead.
We find it quite comfortable this way, as the couch visually divides the room a bit.
In the corner, we have a lamp that makes the whole space really cozy in the evenings.
Maybe this could be an idea... I think it looks very nice and cozy exactly like this. I don’t like it when the sofa is just placed against the wall and the TV or whatever is simply opposite - and in between there’s just empty space and maybe a small coffee table. I find it much more comfortable when the sofa is in the middle, with a small cabinet behind it for books or whatever. And for me, having a LARGE rug and plenty of cushions is always very important. That way, it’s easy to relax.
