My wife and I are finally ready to build our house. We have looked at many companies and have decided to build a solid (brick or concrete) house.
Now we are wondering whether to work with an architect or choose a turnkey solution.
What are your experiences or recommendations on this topic? Maybe you can also suggest a few companies?

The internet is both a blessing and a curse – unfortunately, only partially helpful for what you are looking for!
There are new housing developments in Baden-Württemberg as well, right? Visit one on the weekend and talk to the homeowners there. Since it’s Saturday or Sunday, you will most likely find them without salespeople or contractors around, so you can get mostly honest feedback.
Afterwards, you can verify these statements again online; if the majority of the mentioned companies receive good reviews, that’s a good first step.
