allstar8322 Nov 2019 19:53The House Contract. After we:
... compared about 10 providers
... visited model home parks
... checked every building area in the region
... read books
... visited the forum every day
... conducted reference calls
... compared the scope of work descriptions
... visited the provider’s construction sites
... reviewed the scope of work and contract documents
... and asked another thousand questions
we decided on the provider who was not the cheapest at first but always delivered reliably, was always available, and whose planning, communication, and ultimately price/performance ratio turned out to be the best.
Not much can go wrong now, right? (Just kidding, I guess the real work is just beginning).
I hope this decision is the right one, but I suppose in the end you always learn more.
How was it for you... did your preliminary selection go faster?
Best regards

First of all, good luck and congratulations on deciding to become a building savings contract holder, a cautious planner, and a garden center customer.
What do you mean by a long time? We also took about 3 months to finalize everything until the signing in September 2016. For us, it was about 4 months. But we were only able to manage that because of parental leave.
