ᐅ Is tomorrow the first step?

Hello everyone, after reading along here for some time, this is my first post! We are planning to build soon, and if everything goes well, we will purchase our plot of land tomorrow. It is a bit more difficult in our area because there are more interested buyers than plots available, so the plots are allocated by a lottery system. We have been debating back and forth between a prefab house and a solid masonry house, but we have now decided on a solid masonry house. It simply feels like the right choice. We are planning a townhouse-style villa with about 160m² (1720 sq ft) of living space without a basement. Our ideas are quite clear: an open living and dining area with underfloor heating (tiled), a master bedroom, two children’s bedrooms, a shower bathroom for the kids, and a master bathroom. What do you think I should roughly budget for this (excluding the land)? I’m sure there is someone here who has built something similar. P.S. I find it a pity that few people write a brief summary after completing their build.

I am currently building and have a townhouse with everything you described. My house is 142 sqm (1,528 sq ft) and I am paying 235,000 euros. I hope this helps you.

Thanks to both of you, I will set the budget at 250,000 to be on the relatively safe side. Yesterday, we were lucky with the draw and secured a plot of land 🙂!
