Hello everyone,
Can someone help me? I’m having issues with my toilet making a noise like a garbage disposal during flushing, as if something is being sucked in and then loudly drops down. Also, everything first comes back up before falling down like in a pit latrine. Depending on the situation, I often have to flush several times to get everything to go away.
The house is a new build from 2011. I reported the problem to the developer, who told me that all the available plans were properly designed.
Does anyone know what this could be caused by?
Could the waste pipe have too steep an angle, causing a backup that makes everything come up and then drop down?
Best regards,
Suatts

Could it be that the vent pipe to the roof vent stone is somehow blocked or too small? It sounds like your toilet is creating a vacuum.
