ᐅ Looking for a single rocker switch with a double-pole function; Gira does not offer this.

Today, I wanted to list and order our electrical equipment and was a bit surprised that a rocker switch I wanted is not available for purchase 😳

The specialist dealer was not aware of such a switch, and according to Gira, they definitely do not have this type in their current product range.

I am looking for a rocker switch that has a single-pole normally closed contact both at the top and at the bottom—so two separate normally closed contacts. Double rocker switches or double push-buttons are available but are not what I want.

Like in the picture below (showing a rocker for a switch), I would like a single rocker with two normally closed contacts (top/bottom).

Are there any other manufacturers who currently make such switches, with a similar appearance and price range as the Gira 55 pure white glossy?

Thanks for the feedback. It seems I stuck too closely to my design preference and didn’t want to accept the standard solution 🙄. The only issue with that standard solution is that I simply like the other rocker switch better 😎. It’s a pity, but it seems such an implementation is not in demand. However, it’s not a big deal for us to go with the normal roller shutter switches with double rocker.

Just as a side note, you can usually remove the small springs in a tactile switch, and it effectively becomes a regular switch.

Okayyyyy, I would prefer it exactly the other way around. Unfortunately, that doesn’t work 😡

Sorry, then I misunderstood. In that case, you obviously need two springs. It also works the other way around. Just google for “conversion push-button switch Gira” 😉
