Hi .....my question is about the Ringhult side panels ....our kitchen is 2.00 m (6 feet 7 inches) and the side panels are 2.20 m (7 feet 3 inches) ....is it correct that I have to shorten them myself, meaning cut them down? Also, the long side is damaged and has markings made with a permanent marker .....everything seems a bit suspicious.

IKEA-Experte21 Jun 2015 18:44The cut edge should face upwards and not be in contact with the floor. To be safe, I would avoid placing the top side directly on the floor and instead insert a sealing profile.

...The word fitted kitchen itself already contains the word "build" in its root.
Without at least some basic tools and DIY skills, it simply won’t work...
