Hello,
does anyone have a tip on where to order good quality pleated blinds at reasonable prices?
So far, I have only visited websites where they want over €70 for one pleated blind. Maybe my price expectations are wrong, or is that a normal price?

I hope someone here has relevant experience

Thanks!

Yes. That’s the price for a genuine pleated blind. Otherwise, you can go to IKEA or a similar store and see if something for 29.90 works for you.

It definitely depends on the dimensions of your windows. A standard one is available for clamping at a low cost. If it’s a custom size, needs to be screwed in, and possibly coated, the price will be in the three-digit range.

So far, we have only used the more affordable models costing 30-40 EUR.
What advantages do the more expensive pleated blinds have?
Ours always look worn after a few years (especially in the kitchen) and need to be replaced. I’m reluctant to spend 100 EUR every time.

Deco Profi pleated blinds on Amazon in size 75x220cm (30x87 inches) cost about 30 euros. You need to measure your windows and add about 5cm (2 inches). They are clip-on and I’m very satisfied. At first, it’s a bit tricky, but once you get the hang of it, it’s easy. Two brackets broke for me, and replacement parts arrived two days later.

They look nice, let in plenty of natural light, and are affordable.

The only thing that annoys me is that these come in a HUGE box and are wrapped inside again... plus, they all arrive individually packaged, even if you order 15 pieces.

I also have an affordable one from Otto.de, which is completely sufficient for my needs.
