Hello to the experts

I would like to know

Are there special tiles available?
Is an epoxy resin kitchen countertop recommended or is it rather risky?
Tiles on wood or Wedi boards
Please provide professional advice on the best approach
Thank you very much

This table is also made from a tile, or rather two tiles glued together.

Modern office space with a long white table, monitors, white chairs, bookshelves, and a green wall.

So, a tile of 320cm (126 inches) is simply a ceramic countertop for me, right?
That’s a different matter; that’s actually what we wanted (but unfortunately, our kitchen planner only realized too late that they are only available up to 320cm (126 inches) – we would have needed 327cm (129 inches) *grrrr*).

No, ceramic countertops are at least 20mm (0.8 inches) thick and are in a different price range. For example, we have tiles in the bathroom. They are actually floor or wall tiles.

Ceramic countertops can also last longer ; ) it’s just a matter of manufacturer and price.

We could have gotten a ceramic slab with a thickness of 12mm (0.5 inches) – but, as mentioned, the maximum length is 320cm (126 inches), and our extra depth (almost 80cm (31 inches)) would probably have been problematic as well.

Do you know of any manufacturer? We have searched but found nothing. Right now, we have Corian with integrated backsplash, which looks very stylish, but I would never want it again as a kitchen countertop. This will probably be one of the first things we replace, and if we could then get a ceramic slab in the dimensions we need, that would be simply great.
