Hello,
We would like to have tiles (45x90 cm [18x35 inches]) installed in the bathroom (13 m² [140 ft²]) on the upper floor of our single-family house, where the screed is already in place. The tiler says he needs a staircase to do this, which we do not have yet. The windows are already installed, and we could at best manage a ladder to get from the ground floor to the upper floor. However, I imagine carrying the tile packages up using a ladder would be quite exhausting.
Has anyone faced this issue before or does anyone have helpful tips on how to get the heavy tiles upstairs under these circumstances?
(Waiting until the staircase is installed is not an option.)
Thank you in advance!

You or your tiler will probably have to carry the tiles up one by one. However, you will definitely need a ladder for the workers! Please upload a picture of your stairwell/future staircase area.
Since you plan to do the painting yourself, you might also need scaffolding for the stairwell later on. When will the actual staircase be installed?
Since the screed is in place, I wonder: How did everyone else get up to the attic? How do you get up there now for ventilation?

Simple solution to the question:
The builder installs an electric lift/incline lift, which can at least transport materials to the floor level.
For personnel, well, ladders can also be set up in the ceiling opening.
But transporting materials via ladders? NEVER!! Report a construction obstruction!

How many tiles are we talking about? Two bathrooms?
Carrying them yourself... Sorry, but I would like to see that. Even if you only have 60cm x 60cm (24in x 24in) tiles, it's almost impossible to manage with just a ladder.
No, inclined elevator to the window.
