Hi everyone, we are currently having our bathroom renovated for 13,000, and the tiler did not fully apply adhesive behind the tiles in the shower. I asked him about it, and he said, "With a 30cm x 60cm (12 inches x 24 inches) tile, this is not necessary." Is that correct? Whenever I search for tiling work, I see that adhesive should be applied across the entire surface, not just in spots.
Thanks in advance

What do you mean exactly? Are you referring to the adhesive underneath?

If you’re not able to describe it well, pictures can help.

How many points are there per tile?

The colleague actually described it correctly. When he says “full-surface adhesion,” he most likely means under the tile. I don’t know any tiler who applies adhesive on the face of the tile (above).
