Hello! The tiled stove at my parents’ place always had a kind of hood on top (I’m not sure what it’s exactly called). Now the whole stove needs renovation, and that hood was removed for that. My mother thinks it looks nicer without it, but the guy who’s fixing the stove convinced my father that it works worse without the hood... What do you think? Does it actually perform worse, or is it just a matter of taste?

Well, I know which "roof" you mean, but I don’t know the correct term for it either 😉 What I do know is that it’s a matter of personal taste.. many say it’s supposed to be that way, my friend says she doesn’t care how it’s supposed to be if she doesn’t like it 😀 I feel the same. I don’t think it has anything to do with the function.
