Hello!
I want to tile the space between the washbasin and the mirror in the bathroom myself (as a splash guard). I still have some leftover tiles from the shower that I would like to use. Unfortunately, these are "difficult" tiles. They are Equipe Ceramica Lanze tiles, each with a pointed edge. Kind of like an arrow pointing in two directions.
I need to cut off the pointed part to get a straight edge against the wall. This can only be done with limited precision. Something always goes wrong.
How can I create a neat finish on the bottom edge of a tiled wall? The trim profiles available for tiles are only suitable for the top edge. There is no reversed version.

Would it be possible not to tile the entire surface but to leave a border, which in this case would have a zigzag pattern? I don’t know what the surface looks like, but maybe this is an idea for you so you wouldn’t have to cut the tiles at all. It’s also about the edge at the washbasin… there it’s only along a straight line.

Unfortunately, they are "tricky" tiles. They are Equipe Ceramica Lanze tiles, each with a pointed side—kind of like an arrow pointing in two directions.
I need to cut off the pointed end to create a straight edge along the wall. This can only be done with moderate precision. Something always goes wrong.
How can I finish a tiled wall neatly at the bottom? The trim strips available for tiles are only suitable for the top edge. There is no reversed version. There are tile edge trims that can be used on the top, bottom, and sides.
If cutting the tiles with a tile cutter doesn’t work, I would try using an angle grinder.

I have a manual tile cutter here. Still, snapping the tile along the cut line doesn’t come out as cleanly as it should. What if you place them on the workbench edge and clamp a second board on top?https://www.instagram.com/11antgmxde/
