We have a pesky young deer visiting regularly. It eats the new trees and bushes or rubs and browses everything bare. In short: we need a wildlife fence.
Now I’m looking for something that still lets the cat get through at the bottom. So a mesh size of about 15cm (6 inches) would be ideal. But I can’t find anything. There’s always that annoying rabbit protection included. Has anyone else had the same issue?

Then just turn the fence around.Damn, I was too late. Or the version 50cm (20 inches) higher + pliers.

No, I think fences are ridiculous.
It’s not enough that we keep taking away nature bit by bit, dividing it into rectangles, and damaging the flora with over-fertilization — then we want a fence to act as a barrier for animals too.
Where are the wild animals supposed to go if you put a fence around “your” property? I find that absolutely selfish.
That’s the absurdity of some people: they want to be far away in nature, so that urban life doesn’t catch up with them … and then they lock up nature.
It’s not the animal that’s bad, you are.
Regards, YvonneWhat is wrong with you?
If wild animals were damaging my property, I would also build a fence (I’m building one anyway for the dog).
But writing things like that about me now is a bit exaggerated.

But writing things like that now from you is a bit exaggerated. And you put nets over the cherry tree to protect it from starlings, right?
