ᐅ The temperature inside the rooms does not meet our requirements.

We have underfloor heating where a hydraulic balancing has been carried out. However, we do not want the same temperature in every room, and the actual temperatures in the individual rooms do not meet our needs. What options do we have? It is said that room thermostats or actuators should ideally not be used to adjust the temperature but be left fully open. Can I simply change the flow rates on the manifold until we are satisfied with the temperature?

Is it generally true that with a low temperature differential, it’s better to increase flow rate rather than supply temperature?
I’m not an expert myself, but I’ve gradually increased the supply temperature up to 28°C (82°F) with fully open actuators, and we end up at about 21.5°C (70.7°F), which works for us.
To answer your question, I’d say yes up to a certain point. Eventually, if the supply temperature is too low, even fully open valves won’t deliver enough heat into the building.

I have now adjusted the rooms. With the currently mild temperatures, I am facing another problem. All rooms are overall slightly too warm at the moment. Unfortunately, the heating system cannot reduce its output any further. It is already running at 3.2kW but still does not reach the desired supply temperature.
