Stefan8906 Jul 2020 21:36Hello,
we had three windows fitted with venetian blinds instead of roller shutters. Unfortunately, on one of the venetian blinds, the guide pins broke off after about two weeks during operation. We reported this issue, and the blind was finally replaced after 5! months. The second blind came out of the guide rails shortly after the failure of the first one. That problem was also fixed last week. Today, the end positions of all the venetian blinds were adjusted. Shortly afterward, one of the blinds came out of its rail again, see the picture.
Has anyone experienced similar problems? Could it be that the wrong type of guide rail was installed? There is a wind sensor, and it is working properly. The issue is that when the blind moves outside the guide rail, the guide pins catch on the roller shutter box and eventually break off.
Another question is whether it is possible to withhold payment due to the long downtime.

It looks like the width doesn’t fit.

and the left side:
So the venetian blind is not exactly centered. I think the width is fine, as there is still a lot of space on the left, but what do you think?
One of the issues is that the venetian blind does not stay in the guide. On the next operation, it gets stuck in the roller shutter box.
